That’s how I discovered images weren’t working. But regardless, here it is the night we brought it home.

Thank you! If course. The Beetle was her first TDI, and as long as we stay VW, she will most likely continue it. She loves the efficiency and the torque.

It’s an S model. And she can’t drive manual, so it’s a DSG. Actually the DSG is greatly improved for the Mk7.

Well, it’s a great addition to your fleet. And white has always been the proper color for a Golf, in my humble opinion. Does it have the kilt-colored seats?

It does not. That’s only in the GTI. All of the normal Golf and TDIs have leatherette now except for the starter level Launch Edition.

Gas or diesel? Manual or DSG? Leather or cloth?

Golf looks very nice in white as well.

It’s a TDI S DSG. So it’s got leatherette, bluetooth, and alloys. But it doesn’t get the Fender system, Sunroof, or a backup camera.

How’s the DSG in the new golf? The one in my Jetta TDI is rather slow to respond at times. Bummer that the Fender system wasn’t included, it’s a pretty good sounding unit. Backup camera isn't necessarily needed, the Golf has always had pretty good rear visibility.

Im really impressed with the DSG a cross the board in the Mk7s. It’s always paired off better with the TDI than the TSIs, but now it’s livable in the TSI and damm near telepathic in the TDI.

Yeah I really can’t complain, it does what it’s supposed to. The fuel mileage alone gets my Jetta high marks in my book. I’m averaging at least 52mpg every tank since I do all highway miles on it.

Still, a wonderful car. And I remember the leatherette from an ‘84 Jetta Turbodiesel I had ... clutch was undersized, but otherwise a nice little car.
